Selenium 12W10P-Nd-SLF 12" Neodymium Woofer 350W

Selenium's 12W10P-Nd-SLF 12" woofer was designed specifically for applications where low weight is an important factor, like portable speakers or suspended systems. An integrated cast aluminum heat sink and basket confers maximum thermal efficiency to the motor system and contributes to high power handling capacity, and the voice coil is made of high temperature copper wire, wound on a polyimide former for resistance to heat and stress.

The light yet stiff cone is manufactured with long fiber pulp, which combined with a surround of impregnated fabric gives the assembly great stability, high yield, and low distortion. An epoxy painted reinforced aluminum injected frame provides the array with high mechanical resistance, and the magnet assembly was designed with the assistance of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software in order to ensure optimization. A lightweight and efficient neodymium magnet minimizes field interference and allows the woofer to be used next to sensitive equipment.
